BIG CHAD REED DELIVERS A LATE NIGHT SOUTHERN SOUL ANTHEM “SLOW LINE”
Big Chad Reed officially steps into the slow lane today with the release of his new single, “Slow Line,” now streaming everywhere.
Born in Augusta and raised on the dirt roads of Brooklet, Georgia, Chad’s sound is rooted in the rich musical traditions of the South, blending blues, soul, R&B, and country into something raw, modern, and undeniably authentic. Inspired by legends like B.B. King, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, and CeeLo Green, Big Chad Reed delivers music that speaks directly to real life, real love, and real emotion.
Produced by Thekidmave and Justin Radford of the 8th Ave collective, with additional assistance from Brandon Pair, “Slow Line” rides on a hypnotic groove inspired by the timeless vibe of Aaliyah’s “Rock the Boat,” pairing warm production with Chad’s gritty yet soulful delivery.
The record is smooth, intimate, and made for late night rides, grown folks conversations, and slow burning dance floors alike.
“Slow Line” is available now on all streaming platforms.
Tap in with Big Chad Reed as he continues building toward his debut EP, Concrete Blues coming later summer.
